Misfit Manor offers a variety of lessons for all ages and riding abilities. You can choose between
• Individual Lessons

• Group Lessons
​• Horse and Cart Driving Lessons

• Therapeutic Equine Encounters

Lessons are an hour long but always expect to stay longer because there are so many animals to see! Yes! After your lesson, you will have unlimited access to all our farm and exotic animals! Please arrive 10 minutes early to groom your horse.  Our lessons are Christian based.  There is NO FEAR in Christ! If there is fear, we take a pause, breathe, pray, and talk about it.

God has offered us many things through nature and there is so so much one could learn outdoors, whether it be farming skills, LIFE skills, math, science, history, or just making new friendships! We want to share all of this with the homeschoolers! 

How will this work? 

Class runs September through May. You may choose to come daily or weekly.

What will the students do? Students will learn all aspects of farm care along with academics. Each child is given their own workbook for their time here. During classroom time the children do Bible reading as well as have a weekly bible verse.  Cooking is a large part of our day. The children learn to cook cheese, yogurt, ice cream and more with the goat milk they collect, as well as bake homemade breads and biscuits.  Horseback riding is a part of every class. During the good weather our 22 foot waterslide is up for afternoon fun.

SUMMER CAMP

COST: $285

Ages 4+

Activities will include:
* Daily Bible stories that relate to the animals we are working with
* How to milk a goat

* 22 FT Waterslide up DAILY
​* Baby animals like chicks, piglets, and kids! (Goats)
* Making homemade ice cream and cheese with goats milk

* Cart and Pony driving lessons

* Natural horsemanship riding lessons

* Riding games

* Caring for farm animals

* Chicks are always hatching

* Children can take home fresh eggs they collect daily

* Commercial sized bounce house will be set up for all day fun.

Camp cost includes lunch daily, milk, eggs, cheese, the ice cream they make, and a baby chick if available.

9am to 3PM

ON-SITE BIRTHDAY PARTIES/PRIVATE EVENTS

Our on-site parties include access to all of our farm animals, and our commercial sized bounce house for 2 hours. You may add an additional hour for $200. 

PACKAGE 1

- Animal encounter without horseback riding: $ 350

PACKAGE 2

-Animal encounter with goat milking demonstration: $450 * no horseback riding

PACKAGE 3

- Animal encounter with horseback riding, cart and pony driving, yes even our cow can be ridden by children!: $550

PACKAGE 4

-Full access with horseback riding (and even our cow for the children!), cart and pony driving, goat milking experience, and homemade goat cheese: $650

 - Fancy, the Appaloosa, for horseback rides: $400
- Fabio, the Shetland Pony, for cart rides: $400

*without cart: $300

- Whiskey, the donkey: $300

- Maple, the mini pig: $200

- Piglets, when available: $50

- Baby goats, when available: $50

- Lupe, the dairy goat, for a milking demonstration: $200

* If she is dry an alternate goat will be used

- Fiona & Bella, goats made for snuggling: $200

- Gizmo, the fainting goat: $150

MOMS DAY OUT

CHEESE MAKING AND SOURDOUGH CLASSES 

COST: $85

You’ve seen the kids have fun all this time, so why can’t the parents have fun too? Mom’s day offers the same thing as Summer Camp with just a few differences!

- Learn how to cook using home grown herbs with goats milk to make cheese and ice cream

- Learn how to cook biblical bread using sourdough

- Kid free (we've got our own)
